COLUMBUS GROVE — It was a memorable morning for Crestview at the Northwest Conference (NWC) Cross Country Championships on Saturday. The Knights claimed their first boys cross country team title since 1997, while Lincolnview’s girls team secured a strong runner-up finish behind champion Columbus Grove.
COLDWATER — The Parkway Panthers turned in a solid showing at the Midwest Athletic Conference (MAC) Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning, finishing fifth in the girls race and eighth in the boys race.
VAN WERT — Running on their home course, the Van Wert Cougars turned in a strong performance at the Western Buckeye League (WBL) Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning, earning third place in both the boys and girls team races. The event featured 115 boys and 93 girls competing in crisp fall conditions.
VAN WERT — The Van Wert Cougars (4-4) returned to Eggerss Stadium on Friday night and delivered a complete performance, defeating the Ottawa-Glandorf Titans (0-8) by a 38-20 final in Western Buckeye League (WBL) action.
COLUMBUS GROVE — The first quarter couldn’t have gone much better for Columbus Grove Friday night as the Bulldogs piled up a 32-0 lead en route to a 38-0 win over Crestview.
