TIFFIN — The Crestview cross country program enjoyed a banner day at Saturday’s Tiffin Regional, as the Knights captured the boys Division IV regional championship and Lincoln Smith claimed the individual title. On the girls side, Lincolnview advanced to state with a sixth-place finish.
COLUMBUS GROVE — Area programs turned in strong performances at the Division IV District Cross Country Championships on Saturday, with Lincolnview, Crestview and Parkway leading a strong group of local qualifiers.
COLUMBUS GROVE — It was a memorable morning for Crestview at the Northwest Conference (NWC) Cross Country Championships on Saturday. The Knights claimed their first boys cross country team title since 1997, while Lincolnview’s girls team secured a strong runner-up finish behind champion Columbus Grove.
COLDWATER — More than 490 runners competed Saturday morning at the Coldwater Lions Invitational, with 277 boys and 213 girls representing schools across the region. Versailles swept the top two spots to take the boys race, while Liberty Center claimed the girls team crown.
VAN WERT — The 47th annual OhioHealth Cross Country Invitational brought strong competition to Van Wert on Saturday morning, as 17 schools and more than 250 runners took to the course. When the dust settled, the Crestview boys and Ottawa-Glandorf girls left with team championships.
VAN WERT — The Van Wert County Fairgrounds was the site of the annual Lancer Cross Country Grandstand Invite on Tuesday evening, as seven local schools competed across both boys’ and girls’ races.
