Karen Jean Luderman, born June 18, 1943, to Werner E. Weissenborn and Alice M. (Martin) Weissenborn, entered into our Heavenly Father’s loving arms, on May 21, 2025. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, daughter Susan Jean Luderman, and granddaughter, Ceranity Coulter.
She is survived by her most devoted and loving husband, Rev. Gary Luderman, wedded May 26, 1967, her children: Kathy (Jeff) Thompson, Sandra Fogel (Bobby Knight), Lisa (Michael) Coulter, and Scott Luderman; grandchildren: Jeffrey Thompson (Rhonda), Katelyne Thompson (Everette Wilson), Cortnee Fogel, Hanna Couture (Matthew), Samantha Coulter, Cydney Coulter, Veronika Coulter, Jersey Coulter, and Peter Luderman; and great-grandchildren: Michael Thompson, Harper Thompson, and Barrett Couture.
She was the most patient, loving, and kind soul in this world. She retired as a CNA, and also a pastor’s wife. She was devoted to God and her family. She brought joy to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
Viewing will be at St John’s Lutheran Church, 9088 Openlander Rd., Sherwood, Ohio on Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm, followed by a service beginning at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Eric Moquin, and committal at Sherwood Cemetery. Services are in the care of Oberlin-Turnbull Funeral Home, 230 East Elm Street, Sherwood, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St John’s Lutheran Church, Sherwood, Ohio.
Rest in peace, daughter of the Most High, your work is done. You need not be weary anymore, for you have been called home to the Glory of God. Rest your head on the Savior’s shoulder, and know that all is well.
