Gregg W. Bolenbaugh

DELPHOS, Ohio — Gregg W. Bolenbaugh, 64, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2024. 
Gregg was born on March 17, 1960, in Van Wert, Ohio, to Carl W. “Bill” and Margaret “Peggy” (Ross) Bolenbaugh. Gregg grew up in Grover Hill, Ohio, graduating from Wayne Trace High School in 1978 and attended Ivy Tech, Fort Wayne, Indiana. 

He worked in various retail settings over the years. He was an avid sports fan following the Wayne Trace Raiders, Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Indians. Gregg loved travel, bowling and spending time with his family, especially at the Blue Water Campground in his younger years. Gregg never met a stranger.

Gregg will be lovingly missed by his mother, Margaret “Peggy” Bolenbaugh of Delphos; sister, Debra (Calvin) Mengerink of Van Wert; brother, Jeffrey (Lynn) Bolenbaugh of Ellicott City, Maryland; nieces and nephews, Amy (Dan) Goodlin, Sarah Mengerink, Adam (Carrie) Mengerink, Annie Bolenbaugh, and Charlie Bolenbaugh; great nieces and nephews, Mackenzie Goodlin, Connor Goodlin, and Kaden Goodlin.

Gregg was preceded in death by his father, Carl W. “Bill” Bolenbaugh. 

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Zion Community Church, Grover Hill. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Latty Township, Ohio.
Visitation will be from 5 – 8 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2, 2024, at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, Ohio. There will also be visitation one hour prior to the services at church on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions may be made in Gregg’s memory to Zion Community Church, Grover Hill.
