VAN WERT — The Lincolnview Lancers and Crestview Knights boys golf teams squared off with the LCC Thunderbirds in a Northwest Conference (NWC) tri-match Wednesday evening at Hickory Sticks Golf Club.
PAULDING — The Wayne Trace Lady Raiders came to the Jungle to face off against Paulding’s Lady Panthers in GMC Volleyball action Tuesday evening. Paulding came in on a three-game winning streak. The Lady Raiders of Wayne Trace were looking for their first win in this conference match-up against their county rivals.
COLUMBUS — Week 2 of the 2025 high school football season is in the books. Football players from all over Ohio put up some amazing performances on the second week of the season.
BRYAN — The Crestview boys cross country team turned in a strong performance Tuesday evening, placing second at the Golden Bear Invitational in Bryan. The Knights tallied 45 points, just behind host Bryan’s winning score of 38. Celina rounded out the top three with 74.

COLUMBUS GROVE — A large field of area schools gathered Saturday morning at Columbus Grove for the annual Grove Invitational, and local runners turned in several standout performances across both the boys’ and girls’ divisions.
ELIDA — Van Wert scored on a pinpoint pass with 3:31 left in the game to squeak out a 19-14 win over Elida Friday night. The Cougars are now 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the WBL. The Bulldogs are 1-1 and 0-1.
CONVOY — The Crestview Knights (1-1) faced a daunting challenge on Friday night as the red-hot Marion Local Flyers (2-0) came to town for a non-conference showdown. The Flyers lived up to their reputation, posting a commanding 63-0 victory and extending their winning streak to 66 games.
