BATH — On Thursday evening, the #6 seeded Van Wert Lady Cougars (5-13) hit the road for a Division IV Sectional Final showdown against Western Buckeye League (WBL) foe and the #4 seeded Bath Lady ’Cats (8-13). Despite pounding out 18 hits to Bath’s five, Van Wert came up short in a 10-4 loss, as costly errors opened the door for the Lady ’Cats to advance.
