VAN WERT — Larry Andrus Jr., 50, the Van Wert man accused in the death of his stepfather, Roy Watts, was sentenced Wednesday to six to nine years in prison after pleading guilty in April to one count of first-degree felony involuntary manslaughter in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court. He was credited with 539 days served while awaiting the disposition of his case.
VAN WERT — OhioHealth Van Wert Hospital has named Leslie Beining, MSN, RN, chief nursing officer. Beining, who previously served as the hospital’s senior advisor of operations, brings more than two decades of nursing leadership experience to the role.
