Fatal crash in Williams County

Williams County – The Defiance Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash that occurred on August 7 at approximately 12:10 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. Route 6 and State Route 66 in Springfield Township, Williams County.

Millay Grand Marshal of Wren Homecoming

WREN—Jeff Millay has been selected as the Grand Marshal for the Wren Homecoming Parade for 2024. Pastor Jeff grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio. AFter graduating from Grace Seminary in 1985 he served in two internships before accepting the Senior Pastor position at Pleasant View Church, two miles north of Wren on State Route 49, in early 1986. He has faithfully served at Pleasant View Church since then. As Jeff and Cindy raised their four children there were numerous opportunities to be involved with the community. His love of sports gave him additional opportunities for community service. Millay helped coach baseball and softball for many years as his kids played on different Wren and other teams.
