VAN WERT — The Van Wert Rotary Club proudly inducted Michael Etter as its newest member, marking a historic milestone for the organization — three generations of Rotary service in one family.

VAN WERT — First Financial Bank (Nasdaq: FFBC) will hold a food drive in the Van Wert area from Oct. 6-31 to support neighbors in need. The bank will accept canned food and nonperishable boxed food in large, marked bins at its financial centers in the area, including at 1163 S. Shannon St. in Van Wert.

VAN WERT — CHP Home Care & Hospice will host its annual Hospice “Beacon of Hope” dinner and charity auction on Oct. 9, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Junior Fair Building at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds.

VAN WERT — Advanced Insurance Group has teamed up with Goodville Mutual Casualty Company to make a $1,000 donation to a charity of their choice, Community Health Professionals (CHP) Home Care & Hospice.

St. Paul’s Church will be offering a four session study called “In Case of Death”. Death is one of those subjects that we just don’t like to talk about but it is something that will affect us at sometime.
