WILLSHIRE, Ohio — Jeannie Marie (Kirk) Michaelson, 58, of Willshire, passed away Friday, Nov. 15, 2024, at Van Wert Hospital. Jeannie was born on March 25, 1966, in Paulding, to Phillip Kirk and the late Lissie Jean (Talbott) Kirk.

Jeannie graduated from Wayne Trace High School in 1984. She loved with a heart bigger than life itself, and was kind, compassionate, generous, selfless and very giving to all who knew her. She fiercely loved her family, friends, and all animals, especially dogs. One of her favorite hobbies was diamond art pictures. Jeannie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends more than anything. She also enjoyed road trips and traveling to the family cabin in Kentucky.

Jeannie is survived by her father, Phillip Kirk Sr.; life partner, Randy Michaelson Sr.; daughter, Ashley (Shane) Holten; sons, Randy (Jackie) Michaelson Jr. and Jaiden (Steph) Michaelson; sister, Vickie (Joe) Eilerman; brother, Phillip Kirk Jr.; grandchildren, Kyler, Lyric, Willow, and Liam Michaelson, Lacee (Jacob) Andrews, Bethanie Lindeman, Vaylin Holten, Zeppelin Holten and Gavin Baker; great-grandchildren, Winter; niece, Amanda (Josh) Miller; nephew, Mathew Kirk, as well as a large extended family.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her mother, Lissie (Talbott) Kirk; maternal grandparents, Floyd and Mae (Back) Talbott; paternal grandparents, Elbert and Ethel (Mullins); aunts, uncles, and cousins.

To know her was to love her. Jeannie will be forever loved and missed beyond measure.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
