Laura G. Glancy, age 100, passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, at the Meadows of Kalida. Laura was born on August 20, 1924, in Grover Hill, OH to the late Curtis and Milta (Reither) Crone. She married Robert Glancy, who preceded her in death in 2015. Laura was a high school math teacher for 31 years. She taught at Antwerp, Convoy, and Braceville schools.

Laura was a member of and very active with the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Laura and Robert farmed near Grover Hill for many years. They were known for their apples, walnuts, and pecans. Laura was also well known for her pie baking. Laura is survived by her loving nieces and nephews: Cindy Romick, Columbus Grove, OH; Roger (Dorri) Thompson, Elkhart, CO; Debra (Jim) Flickinger, Findlay, OH. Laura is also preceded in death by her sisters, Marsha Doores and Elinor Ann Thompson.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Den Herder Funeral Home. Burial will follow in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Convoy, OH.
