PHYLLIS ANN ELEY

 Phyllis Ann Eley, born on September 1, 1930, in Spencerville, Ohio, passed away on September 27, 2025, after a brief illness. During her childhood, she lived in a variety of places with her parents, Lester D. and Valeria Faurot, and her two brothers, Doyt and Zane, who preceded her in death.
 On June 28, 1952, Phyllis married Bill O. Eley. They made their home in Spencerville, Ohio, for many years. While living there, Phyllis worked as an office manager at the former Buckeye Concrete Pipe in Lima, Ohio, for 26 years, retiring in 1982.
 She was an active member of the Long Memorial Seventh-day Adventist Church, where she taught Sabbath School and played the organ. She also enjoyed knitting, gardening, and cooking.
 Phyllis and Bill enjoyed traveling across the United States and Canada in their RV. After many years in Spencerville, they relocated to Haines City, Florida, in 2000, where they lived until Bill’s passing in 2012.  
 Phyllis then moved to Ooltewah, Tennessee, in 2015, to be closer to her immediate family. She attended the McDonald Road Seventh-day Adventist Church, where she participated in prayer meetings and continued sharing her musical talents on the piano and organ.
 Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Kayleen Vance (Bev) of Ooltewah, Tennessee; her grandson, Kevin Vance of San Jose, California; her granddaughter, Laura (Rob) Standish, and her great-grandson, Conner Standish, of Harrison, Tennessee.
 In lieu of a funeral, a Celebration of Life will occur at the McDonald Road Seventh-day Adventist Church in McDonald, Tennessee, at a later date.
