It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Brent Secaur, age 76, of Van Wert. He passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Sabine County Hospital, in Hemphill, Texas, his winter home. 
Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert. Visitation will be from 10:00am-12:00pm on Thursday, at the funeral home. Online condolences may be expressed at www.alspachgearhart.com.
