Convoy Lions held an awards ceremony in May to award the third-grade classes at Crestview Elementary for working hard in the AR Program. In recognition of their hard work, the ROAR (Reinforcement Of Advanced Reading) pays them 5 cents per point. They must pass a test over the content of the book with a score of 80% or better. VAN WERT – The Business Development Corporation (BDC) of Van Wert has named Stacy Adam and Sara Zura as its new Co-Presidents, following the leadership of Andy Czajkowski and Pat Ryan.
David Humphreys Miller was born to Lewis Carl Miller (1883-1956) and Edna Humphreys (1887-1981) on June 8, 1918, in New York. Both Lew and Edna were accomplished artists. The Millers built their home at 745 S. Washington St., where they resided for many years and pursued their interest in art with the Wassenbergs.
