CONVOY — To honor outstanding educators, Crestview Local Schools has established an Educators’ Hall of Fame. Recognition includes both teachers and administrators from Crestview Local, Convoy-Union, Tully-Convoy, Union, and Wren schools. These are educators who have made an impact on the school district and its students before, during, or after consolidation into Crestview Local Schools.
SPRINGFIELD—Following a series of unfounded bomb threats made to schools within the Springfield City School District, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced today that he has authorized a contingent of troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s Mobile Field Force to provide added security at each of the district’s 18 school buildings.

VAN WERT—The Bd. of Developmental Disabilities voted unanimously to amend its contract with NOWAC, the Northwest Ohio Waiver Administration Council on Monday night’s meeting.

Over a lifetime, many of those who know me have been stunned to discover that I was “stranded,” especially with a broken down car. Take, for example, the day when I was “stranded” in a small library because I was told by a mechanic that some type of “damper thing” was malfunctioning and would take a couple of hours to repair.
