Lady Knights’ scoring struggles lead to 3-0 loss at Fort Jennings

FORT JENNINGS — On Thursday night, the Fort Jennings Lady Musketeers (1-7) hosted the Crestview Lady Knights (2-4) at the Fort Jennings Outdoor Athletic Complex for a non-conference duel. Fort Jennings had been struggling, suffering five straight losses since their win over Otsego, while Crestview entered the match on a high note, coming off a 6-0 win against LCC.

History matters

VAN WERT—Historical matters and why they matter was a topic of discussion at the taping of this week’s Commissioners’ Corner radio show at 1220 AM–WERT. Chris Roberts hosted Mayor Ken Markward and Commissioners Stan Owens and Todd Wolfrum for the Thursday morning session, and Mayor Markward opened the show with an observation about history—the blizzard of 1978 was 46 years ago this past winter.
