VWHS entrance is now Bill Clifton Way
VAN WERT—Bill Clifton, long-time Van Wert City Schools educator did it his way and now everybody will know it. On the first day for teachers, a sign was unveiled in the parking lot at Van Wert High School denoting this particular piece of asphalt as “Bill Clifton Way”.
Vantage welcomes students
VAN WERT—Thursday was the first day back for Vantage Career Center students. Enrollment at the school is 576 students.
Lincolnview students head back
MIDDLE POINT—Wednesday was the first day of school for students in the Lincolnview Local School District. Superintendent Jeffrey Snyder was there to welcome the students as they got off the buses.

VAN WERT—The Brumback has been doing some housecleaning lately, and Director Nellie Schmidt briefed the Board during their August meeting last Thursday at 5 p.m. “We have a lot of things that are taking up space that we don’t need anymore,” she told them.

On the night of March 8, 1971 eight burglars broke into an office on Veteran’s Square in Media, Pennsylvania. The eight people called themselves the Citizens’ Commission to Investigate the FBI, and they were after the files the Bureau stored in the small two-man office.
