ROCKFORD — Wayne Trace’s Paige Rahrig set a new school with a nine-hole total of 36 to lead the Lady Raiders to a win over Parkway and Marion Local at Deerfield Golf Course Thursday.
Rahrig birdied hole number four and bogeyed hole seven in the record-breaking round while parring the other seven holes.
“She shot very well tonight,” noted Raider head coach Al Welch. “She has worked extremely hard, and she played a great round today.”
Gracie Gudakunst added a 46 for the Lady Raiders with Brooke Sinn carding a 56 and Hailey Dempsey chipping in a 58. Gilly Wiseman also had a 64 for the red-white-and-blue.


Terra Walls paced Parkway with a 51 and Brenna Brazle carded a 53. Other Panther golfers included Autumn Stetler (58), Taylor Hesse (58), Maggie Houps (75) and Liz Dellinger (80).
Hannah Moeller had a 59 for the Lady Flyers.
