CELINA — Parkway’s boys golf team placed sixth out of six teams competing at the Mercer County Invitational on Tuesday at Mercer County Elks Golf Club.
Hayden Lyons paced the Panthers with a 92 on the day, besting Connor Morton’s 93 by one stroke. Cole Schoenleben carded a 108 while Clayton Agler rounded out the varsity squad with a 111.
For the JV Panthers, Hunter Gause posted a 117 while Austin Metz had a 131. Ashton Hamrick (144) and Maxwell Smith (146) closed the scoring for Parkway.
The Panthers return to Elks on Friday to take on Fort Recovery with a 4 p.m. tee time.
