“We need to do a lot better commutating and we are just trying to figure out what position work best for our players and trying to get them to understand what is going on.  We have seven new players who have never played soccer so we are trying to teach them the game.  We are moving them around trying to get them to understand this game of soccer,” said Crestview coach Joy Short.
“Thought we played really well and I thought we passed the well. Our defense was able to get their foot on the ball for some long passes, which is good because we haven’t been able to do that all year. We gave the younger kids a lot of playing time, and they did what they were supposed to do. So I think that this will be a big momentum builder and a big building block for the future,” added Lincolnview Mark McCleery.
The Lady Knights drop to 0-3 on the year and 0-1 in the NWC. Lincolnview improves to 1-1-1 on the season and is now 1-0 in the NWC.
