OHIO CITY, Ohio — Stanley Mozingo, 55, of Ohio City, passed away
Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2014, at 2 p.m. at the Van Wert Inpatient Hospice
He was born Dec. 22, 1958, to William and Jacqueline (Seekings) Mozingo.
On June 30, 1989, he was united in marriage to Sandy (Hart) Mozingo who survives in Ohio City. They had been married 25 years.
He is also survived by two daughters, Tiffany (Craig Schnipke) Mozingo of Van Wert, and Sadie Mozingo of Ohio City.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Van Wert. He was also a
member of the American Legion. He loved to camp, fish, and hunt for
arrowheads. Stanley especially loved being with his family spending time
with his daughters, nieces and nephews. He worked with challenged
adults as a part of home health care. Stanley had also served in the
United States Army.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be
held on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014, at 11 a.m. at St. John the Baptist
Catholic Church in Landeck with Father Charles Obinwa officiating.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014, at Harter and
Schier Funeral home. Burial will be at St. John the Baptist Cemetery
following the mass where the military graveside rites will be conducted
by Ohio City American Legion.
