HICKSVILLE, Ohio — Norma Jean Worthington, 79, of Hicksville, and formerly of Coldwater Lake , Michigan, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at the Hospice of the Valley Sherman Home in Phoenix, Arizona.

She was born July 10, 1934, in Campbellsville, Kentucky.

She had worked at Magnavox, Angola Wire, and retired from Cooper Standard Automotive in Auburn, Indiana, in 1998.

She was a member of the St. Michaels Catholic Church, Hicksville.

Norma had a great love for enjoying life, and the most important things to her were “Maggie Mae,” her little Yorkie, which was the “love of her life,” her family, and lots and lots of friends.

Survivors include her daughters: Brenda and Tom Waffle of Angola, Indiana, Karen and Tom Emerine of Middle Point, Ohio, and Diane and Rick Hall of Phoenix; a stepdaughter: Lou Combs of Lucama, North Carolina, two stepsons: Bradford and Kathy Worthington of San Antonio, Texas, and Frederick and Jan Worthington of Jacksonville, North Carolina; four grandchildren: Andrew Emerine, Brent Waffle, Katie McCool, and Kent Waffle; five great-grandsons; four stepgrandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; a brother: Joe and Wanda Shively of Fremont, Indiana, and three nieces and two nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Max Worthington; her parents: Garland and Essie Shively; one daughter: Pamela (stillborn); one nephew: Greg Shively, and one great-nephew: Chad Shively

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014, at Beams Funeral Home, Fremont, Indiana.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Beams Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery of Fremont, Indiana.
