OHIO CITY, Ohio — Naomi Jean Schriver Fickert, 86, of Ohio City, died
at 2:25 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2014, at Van Wert Manor Nursing Home.
She was born July 30, 1927, in Ottawa, Ohio, to the late Monnettie (Kindle) and Walter Radabaugh.
first husband, Robert Schriver, died in March 1972. On Nov. 26, 1973,
she married Leroy Melvin Fickert. He died Feb. 21, 2012.
Survivors include her sons: Robert R. Schriver and Ronald L. (Tanya)
Schriver, both of Van Wert, and Mike (Shawn) Fickert of Middle Point; a
sister: Maxine C. Rode of Celina; six grandchildren: Jessica, Katie, and
Andrew Fickert, Becky Jean Schriver, Robert Schriver, Jr., and Ronald
Schriver, Jr., and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Walter Radabaugh and a sister: Irene McMonigal.
She was a homemaker.
will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at Cowan & Son
Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev. Paul W. Miller will officiate. Burial
will be in Van Wert Woodland Cemetery.
Calling hours are Saturday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., prior to services.
Preferred memorial is donor’s choice.
