DECATUR, Ind. — Naomi Irene Moore, 71, of Decatur, Adams County, Indiana, died at 8:20 a.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014, at her residence.

She was born Oct. 28, 1942, in Van Wert, Ohio, to the late Sherman Wallace and Ethel (Dunifon) Wallace.

She married Rex M. Moore on Aug. 29, 1964. He survives in Decatur.

She was a member of Common Ground Church of the Nazarene. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker and retired from Adams Wells Special Services Co-Op and owned and operated Kelly’s Dry Cleaners with her husband, Rex.

Other survivors include her children: Mary Anne (Scott) Taylor of Auburn, Indiana, Molly Farthing of Decatur, Matthew (Jamie) Moore of Monroe, Indiana, and Mindy (Eric) Tryon of Indianapolis, Indiana; sisters: Phyllis (Walter “Bug”) Koch of Elida, Ohio, and Marlene (John “Jack”) McHenney of Waterville, Ohio; brother: David (Nancy) Wallace of New Haven, Indiana, and 12 grandchildren: Jordan, Cameron, Landon and Quinton Taylor, Logan, Mariah and Jessah Farthing, Malakai and Elijah Moore, and Ella, Evie and Macguire Tryon.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, at Common Ground Church of the Nazarene, 6555 N. Piqua Road, Decatur. Matthew Moore and Pastor Kevin Stirratt will officiate. Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery.

Visitation is 1-4 and 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014, in the Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church.

Preferred memorials are Hope Clinic, House of Hope and Common Ground NMI (Nazarene Missions International).
