OHIO CITY, Ohio — Marjorie Helen Riley, 86, of Ohio City, died at
8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2014, at CHP Inpatient Hospice Center.
She was born March 12, 1928, in Van Wert, to the late Amy (Carr) and Isaac Pearson.
Her husband, Ralph H. Riley, survives. They were married Oct. 29, 1948.
Other survivors include a son: David Riley of Van Wert; daughter:
Robbi (Steve) Rhodes of Lima; six grandchildren: Amanda, Austin and Noah
Riley, Derek, Kyle and Riley Rhodes, and two great-grandchildren:
Trenton and Addison Ricker.
She had worked at Federal Mogul and
was a swimming instructor at the YWCA. She was a 1946 graduate of Van
Wert High School and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Post 346
of Ohio City.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday,
March 17, 2013, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, Van Wert. The Rev.
Paul W. Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ohio
Calling hours are Sunday from 1-5 p.m.
Preferred memorial is Ohio City Parks.
