DELPHOS, Ohio — Linda D. Stemen, 75, of Delphos, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018, at her daughter’s residence.

She was born Sept. 5, 1942, in Lima, to George and Betty (Buffenbarger) Sroufe. They both preceded her in death. She married Dennis A. Stemen on March 21, 1959; he preceded her in death on Sept. 3, 2000.

Sons — Dan (Lisa) Stemen of Van Wert, Tony (Amy) Stemen of Mt. Vernon, Ohio, and Zach (Rebekah) Stemen of Delphos

Daughters — Peggy (Dave) Grothause of Lima, Mary Ann (Nate) Swartz of Smyrna, Tennessee, Amy (Brad) Young of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Stacy (Jason) Klint of Delphos

Son-in-law — Bill (Lois) Stober of Elida

Brothers — Gary (Louise) Sroufe of Delphos and Paul “Nub” (Kay) Sroufe of Westerville, Ohio

Sisters — Marilyn (Ed) Holdgreve of Delphos, Kathy (Jim) Watson of Plymouth, Michigan, and Carol Spring of Delphos

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Stober; two brothers-in-laws, Tom Baker and Terry Spring; and her mother-in-law and father-in-law.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. until the time of service at Trinity United Methodist Church. Pastor Rich Rakay, Tony Stemen, and Derek Stemen will officiate. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, from 2-8 p.m. at Harter and Schier Funeral Home.
