DAYTON, Ohio — Eugene Allen Salway, 54, of Dayton, died at 1:47 a.m.
Monday, Aug. 25, 2014, at the Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue,
Dayton, OH 45420.
He was born April 28, 1960, in Van Wert, Ohio,
to Emma Marcile (Allmandinger) of Ohio City, and Harold Floyd Salway who
died Dec. 8, 1996.
Survivors include a brother: Dewayne N. (Kami)
Salway of Willshire; sister: Ellen M. (Jerry) Reigle of Ohio City;
nieces: Andrea Benson of Cleveland and Cassandra Young of Fort Wayne,
Indiana; nephews: Ross Salway of Charleston, West Virginia, Jay Salway
of Charles, West Virginia, Prabhu Salway of Willshire, Ben Reigle of
Ohio City, and Nick Reigle of Van Wert.
He was a computer aided draftsman, 1978 graduate of Parkway High School and ITT of Dayton in 1980.
services are planned for Sunday at 3 p.m. Aug. 31, 2014, at Zion
Lutheran Church, Schumm, Ohio. The Rev. Jeffery L. Patterson of Zion
Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran
Visitation is one hour ahead of service time from 2-3 p.m. at the church.
Preferred memorial is Zion Lutheran Church of Schumm.
