Grubaugh accepted to U.S. Military Academy

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH) congratulated Kameron Grubaugh, a graduate of Crestview High School for accepting to the U. S. Military Academy at West Point, New York at a reception Sunday in Bowling Green.Grubaugh is one of seven students who were nominatged by Latta for appointment for the Class of 2018 at military academies.
“It is an honor to have had the opportunity to nominate these students to the U.S. Military Service Academies,” said Latta. “They should each be commended for their significant contributions to their communities, their academic achievements, and their dedication and willingness to serve our country."
Along with Grubaugh's appointment, the other six nominated students were:
Thomas Heckman, Toledo, Bowsher High School; Evan Ulinski, Elmore, Woodmore High School; and John Wendt, Sylvania, Sylvania Northview High School were accepted at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado;Jason Hug, Bryan, Bryan High School was also accepted as well as Grubaugh at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, New York; while Olivia Bair, Findlay, Findlay High School and Bryant Schlade, Napoleon, Napoleon High School were accepted at the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland.
