VAN WERT – After a Friday off, the Fountain Park Summer Music Series continues Friday, June 15 with Endless Summer Band.

The band, hailing from Indianapolis, Indiana, is known for their ability to get crowds dancing according to guitarist Bryan England, who also noted that Endless Summer Band performed in Van Wert nearly 10 years ago.

“First and foremost we’re a dance band,” said England. “We do a non-stop, no-break performance to keep the dance floor full.”

The band is primarily booked for weddings and special events and travels internationally. Coming together nearly 28 years ago, England said the band has evolved over time to meet the needs of the audiences they play for.

“Myself and the bass player are original players in the band,” said England. “It started out as primarily a 50s and 60s band, hence the name, but then it evolved into what it is today.”

“When we do a show like what we’re going to do in Van Wert, it’s a little bit different,” England continued. “We approach it more as a concert-type environment.”

England said that Endless Summer Band performs all genres of popular music and will perform music that the audience can sing along to.

For England personally, music was something he gravitated to in his youth. He picked up the guitar when he was around 10 years old and has been playing for the last 35 years.

“We’ve always been lucky enough to continue to work and have fun doing it,” said England. “We always say, ‘We’re bringing the happy.’”

England encourages those interested in the band to check out their website at www.esbband.com or to check them out on Facebook.

“It’s a good, clean, fun, entertaining show and people will enjoy it,” said England. “You will know the words probably to every song. Hopefully, the weather will cooperate with us, and we’ll have a good time.”
