VAN WERT — The AAUW is partnering with the YWCA of Van Wert County to present a public forum on “Human Trafficking: Ohio’s Tragic Reality” presented by Laurel Neufeld Weaver on Thursday, May 22 at 7 p.m.
Weaver is the rape crisis coordinator for Allen County Crime Victim Services. The mission of the Crime Victims Services is to help victims prevail over the trauma of their victimization by assisting and advocating for safety, healing, justice and restitution. Weaver will present facts and information on sex trafficking, labor trafficking and child sex trafficking.
This presentation is free to the public and will be held in the Community Room at Vantage Career Center.
