VAN WERT — The YMCA of Van Wert County is holding a summer special for adult and college memberships. Starting immediately, through June 30, adults can purchase a temporary three-month membership for only $99, with no additional fees. Full-time college students, between the ages of 18-24 with proof of full-time college student status, can purchase a temporary three-month membership for only $75, or $125 that includes after hours access with no additional fees.

If a participant chooses to purchase a regular membership upon membership expiration, they may purchase it by Saturday, July 19, and pay no joining fee (a savings worth up to $50).

“We are excited to be able to offer this special for those who would like to start the summer in a healthy manner,” stated Kristin Lichtensteiger, YMCA membership/marketing director. “This also gives people the chance to ‘try the Y’ on a short-term basis to see all the great opportunities and health benefits the Y has to offer,” Lichtensteiger added.

These memberships will include full use of the Y, lap swims, and participation in all free fitness classes.

Information about this and other membership opportunities available at the Van Wert YMCA can be found by calling (419) 238-0443, visiting www.vwymca.org or emailing kristin@vwymca.org. The YMCA of Van Wert County is partially funded by the Van Wert County Foundation and United Way.
