VAN WERT — Trinity will be appearing in concert Sunday, Dec. 29, 2013 during the 10 a.m. service at North Union United Methodist Church north of Van Wert.
Trinity has recently celebrated its 30th year of music ministry. Through the years they have shared a wide variety of Christian music, but have turned its focus toward Southern Gospel over the last 20 years. Vocvalists for the group are Gary Adams, Cheryl Burk, and Kim Mason.
The group recently released their newest project under the Willowood label. This new CD is entitled “Milestones” and features some Southern Gospel hits as well as some wonderful new songs. Trinithy’s last three projects have been produced by Dove Awad winning songwriter, John Darin Rowsey. Trinity has also had the privilege of working with Roger Talley on their first four recordings.
Over the last several years, the group has had the privilege of taking the stage and singing God’s praises with some of the country’s leading gospel artists like The Talleys, The Hoppers, Greater Vision, The Booth Brothers, Mark Lowery, and many others. God has also blessed the group in allowing the members to take part in different showcases at the National Quartet Convention in Louisville, KY each year, various Gospel Cruises and the “Singing in the Sun” in Myrtle Beach. Trinity performs approximately 125 concerts a year throughout the Midwest and South.
