Human trafficking talk held

Vantage Career Center hosted a talk on human trafficking presented by the Van Wert branch of the American Association of University Women and the YWCA of Van Wert County. Pictured, speaker Laurel Neufeld Weaver, rape crisis coordinator for Crime Victim Services of Allen County, gives statistics showing Ohio as the eighth state in the nation for most reports of potential human trafficking. Toledo has been listed as the fourth largest city in the country for child sex trafficking. Around half of all persons trafficked are children.
