COLUMBUS — There’s still time for Ohio military families to sign up for free tax preparation from The Ohio Society of CPAs. Now through April, CPAs from around the state will volunteer to prepare tax returns for military personnel who are permanent residents of Ohio and currently deployed outside of the state.

Operation CPA is a partnership with the Ohio National Guard and has helped hundreds of military families since 2005.

CPA volunteers perform this valuable service to thank military families for their sacrifice. It’s a different kind of service, but no less important to families burdened by having a loved one serving away from home.

To find an area Operation CPA volunteer, call The Ohio Society of CPAs toll-free at (888) 959-1212 or email cpanwers@ohio-cpa.com.

The Ohio Society’s members not only meet statutory and regulatory requirements as CPAs, but also embrace the highest standards of professional and ethical performance. This is achieved through ongoing professional education, comprehensive quality review and compliance with a strict Code of Professional Conduct.
