PAULDING — The Ohio State University Extension Office in Paulding County will be hosting its annual Agronomy Day on Thursday, Jan. 30 from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Topics for the day will include: Stepping up Soybean Production: Seed Treatments and Everything but the Kitchen Sink, by Laura Lindsey, OSU Small Grains and Soybean Specialist; Are You and Your Heirs Ready to Continue the Farm Business, David Marrison, Associate Professor OSU; Use of Poultry, Swine and Dairy Manure with Crops in Northwest Ohio, Glen Arnold OSUE State Specialist, Manure Management; Cover Crops – How does it relate to Soil Conservation and Water Quality, Jim Hoorman Associate Professor OSU.

Cost of the event is $25 if postmarked by Jan. 25, which includes a light breakfast and catered lunch. Registration at the door is $30. Over 20 booths will be set up for producers to view from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and over the lunch hour. Speakers will begin at 9:30 a.m. Certified Crop Advisor credits are available for the day.
