  • Mollenkopf hired as Crestview superintendent

    CONVOY – Crestview has found their new superintendent and she’s a familiar face. Elementary principal Kathy Mollenkopf accepted the superintendent position earlier this week.

  • Markward retiring from Times Bulletin after 28 years

    VAN WERT – After 28 years, The Times Bulletin will be bidding farewell to a long time employee. Office Manager Loretta Markward will be retiring. A retirement party is planned for Feb. 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Times Bulletin would like to extend the invitation to the community.

    VAN WERT, Ohio — Cheryl A. McPhail, 70, of Van Wert, passed away at 9:36 p.m. Thursday at VanCrest Health Care Center in Van Wert.

  • Amidst all of the crazy things going on in the world, the winter Olympics started two weeks ago and now is nearing its end. It’s awesome to see everyone come together, forget about politics for a bit, and chant “USA! USA! USA!” in unison.

  • Darryl Strawberry to speak at NPAC

    VAN WERT — The Niswonger is teaming with the Van Wert County Ministerial Association, who is working with Harvest Recovery Ministries and the Office of Ohio Attorney General Mike Dewine, to bring Epidemic Of Hope to the region. Darryl Strawberry, four-time World Series champion, eight-time All Star, New York Mets Hall of Famer and founder of Strawberry Ministries, will be coming to Northwest Ohio to headline the Epidemic of Hope Weekend focusing on the Tri-County area.
