    VAN WERT — The Van Wert Area Nurses Association held its annual Nurse’s Day Celebration highlighted by the awarding of three nursing scholarships on Monday, May 11. Refreshments were enjoyed as Sara Busacca, RN, at Joint Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, Ohio, presented a continuing education inservice on Defensive Documentation.

    KALIDA — Four years ago, the Putnam County Educational Service Center received grant funding for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) initiatives. Several county schools, including Kalida, received three-dimensional printers through that grant.
