    WASHINGTON (AP) — As the Justice Department probes the police shooting of an unarmed 18-year-old in Missouri, history suggests there’s no guarantee of a criminal prosecution, let alone a conviction.
  • Rep. Latta makes Van Wert stop before fair

    VAN WERT —Rep. Bob Latta visited Van Wert on Tuesday. The Ohio 5th District Representative made a stop to see the new showroom and facility at National Door and Trim in the Vision Industrial Park, and was shown around by company President Tom Turnwald and Rick Anderson. He also stopped at the offices of the Times Bulletin on the south end of Van Wert to talk current events.

    The ribbon was cut Tuesday night at the brand new Rabbit Barn at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds.

    WEST CHESTER, Ohio — Howard Eugene Dunifon, 86, formerly of Lima, was called into the presence of the Lord at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at his home in West Chester.
