    VAN WERT — Van Wert scored three second-half goals to take a 3-0 win over Lincolnview Wednesday afternoon in an intra-county boys soccer match. The Cougars are now 2-9-1. The Lancers are 0-11.

    VAN WERT — Last week, when Van Wert picked up its second win of the year, wide receiver Nick Krugh was able to get free early and roll up 126 yards and a pair of first-half touchdowns. When the Cougars visit Lima Bath on Friday night, Krugh may have some more opportunities for big gains in the passing game.
